Application Permissions

You opened an application and it’s asking for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location? Does it really need all these permissions to work? If you don't think so, decline! Many applications are abusive and want access to your personal data. Your data is valuable! Only give permissions to what you consider necessary.

Scams in Messaging Applications

If an acquaintance sent you a strange message, either asking for help, money, or personal information, be suspicious! Before doing anything, get in touch with the person by video call or meet them in person. Confirm that the message is real!

Screen Lock

Your cell phone is also your wallet! So, enable the screen lock to avoid situations like invasion of privacy or damages, especially if your phone is lost or stolen. Protect yourself!

Does your child want to use a cell phone? Depending on their age, enabling parental control is important. With this option, you can restrict which apps and actions your children will use and protect them.

Backup

Problems with your computer or mobile phone? Do you usually back up your files? With a backup, you can restore the content of your device or transfer it to a new one. Do not forget to regularly back up your data and keep it updated.

Beware of fake apps

Are you going to install an app? Only download apps from official sources and stores, check the developer data and ratings by other users, and be careful with the permissions you provide when installing. Do not fall victim to scams with fake and malicious apps.
