If the Wi-Fi signal is not present in every room of your home, the reason for this is not always the quality of the Wi-Fi router, nor where it is placed. Even with a strong signal, the distance or number of obstacles (such as walls and objects) can be such that when the signal reaches that room it is already weakened.
You could ask a technician to extend a network cable from your router to the farthest rooms, thus connecting your devices directly, or create new wireless access points. However, this is a lot of work and is often expensive.
A simple way to solve this problem is to use signal repeaters. The repeater is nothing more than a device that receives the signal from the router and amplifies it, transmitting it again and extending its range. Some repeaters work by receiving the signal over the wireless network, while others work by using electrical wiring to transmit the signal from one location to another, where it can again be transmitted via Wi-Fi.
