When someone contracts an Internet plan, there is always the question of how many Mbps the plan will include. This will set the speed of data transfer (download/upload) delivered in megabits per second on that data plan. Some online services, especially audio and video, consume more bandwidth by using more data during communication.
When multiple users are connected and using these services at the same time, the Internet connection can become overloaded. This is because it is requesting more data than can be delivered in that time frame by the network. Users may notice this overload when their music or video streaming services keep "freezing."
Some routers, Internet carriers, and streaming providers offer ways to measure your network's available bandwidth rate. If you notice that your connection is worse at certain times of the day, such as when the entire family is gathered at home, check how much bandwidth is left to use. Perhaps the contracted plan is not the most suitable for your home's profile of use and you need a plan with more Mbps.

The first scene shows a laptop loading a video. In this scene, the following phrase appears: "Is your video freezing?"
The second scene shows a family in the living room, and there is a scale in the middle of the room. As each one gets a phone, a play icon (symbolizing a connection that uses Internet data) falls on one of the plates of the scale. The other plate of the scale presents the words "10 Mbps" (symbolizing their data plan). In this scene, the following phrases appear: "Videos consume a lot of Internet resources” and “If many people use it at the same time."
